Amy has been obsessed with all things hair (and pink!) from a very young age. She has a genuine love for vintage old-school classic techniques and styles, and takes every opportunity to advance her skillset. Amy has been in the hair industry for over 17 years. She specialized in Barbering for over 12 years and successfully competed in prestigious industry competitions including the Allied Beauty Association and Battle of the Barbers. Now working as a fully diverse stylist, Amy loves creating all kinds of colour, cut, texture and styling services and is exhilarated when creating looks through fantasy colour techniques while teaching you how to take care of your hair at home with our product line which she refers to as her “liquid tools”.

Above all else, Amy loves humans. Building genuine and emotional connections with whomever sits in her chair is a priority to her and she ensures her Clients leave with a new bounce to their step. She is a Mom of 4 girls, a walking encyclopedia of weird knowledge, and when she finds a spare moment, she is tackling a new home renovation project. Krista loves people. She is honoured to be part of your Venere Experience and works hard to ensure your experience is exceptional. She fills our salon with positive energy and sparkle every day!

Kiran’s bubbly personality, genuine love of people, and creative nature lead her to the world of hairstyling. Throughout high school she took every cosmetology class she could, and became a student-teacher helping younger students learn the skills. She jumped into Hair College as soon as she could and continues to attend advanced training at The Venere Academy. Kiran’s excitement to grow into a talented and respected Stylist is evident! Although Kiran enjoys all aspects of hairstyling, her most loved area is in Special Event Styling and finishing a great colour and/or cut service with a fabulous blowdry. Kiran takes a lot of pride in her work, making sure each of her Guests feel beautiful, freshened up, and ready to sparkle after they leave her chair. She is always focused on ensuring her guests are happy, very well taken care of, and receive a scalp massage that is WOW. Kiran feels content when a client cannot stop smiling.

Francisco originally joined the Hair Industry as a Barber. After attending and graduating from the Eikonic Academy of Barbering and Beauty, his eyes were opened to a whole world of hair full of creativity, colour, and skills that he knew he had to master! Although barbering will always hold a special place in Francisco’s heart and his short-hair cutting skills are excellent, Francisco takes great pride in delivering beautiful cuts, colours and styles in all lengths and to all people. After a few years of working in the Computer Science world, Alvaro knew he needed to pursue a more creative field working directly with people. Alvaro’s Caribbean roots continue to inspire him in many aspects of his career journey. For more than 10 years, Adana has specialized in black ethnic hair and provided services focused on styling, braiding, smoothing, weaves, and silkpress. She recently graduated from Marca College, and is expanding her skill set to be able to provide beautiful services for all hair types and textures, and welcome a more diverse clientele. She has attended advanced training at The Venere Academy to continue developing her skills and is really excited to meet you! Outside of work Adana keeps life busy and full of spice with her three beautiful daughters.

Roberto was in the hospitality industry in Niagara for 18 years. Throughout the pandemic he decided to pursue his love for hair and attend Eikonic Academy. At first he was looking to become a Barber, but after the first day of school and learning about the curriculum, he fell in love with the women’s aspect of Hairstyling, especially Color. Roberto loves to educate himself and loves learning from his coworkers. The Venere Academy has taught him great technique, great communications skills with clientele, and great form to execute client’s desired looks. Roberto’s goals are to exceed his client’s expectations and beyond. When Roberto is not in the salon he spends most his days with his two beautiful children. They inspire and motivate him to be the best he can be every day!!! He also loves Sports, especially baseball and golf!

Continuing her education and skill development is very important to Emine. Lauren is a well-rounded Stylist and has specialized in Colour for the last 7+ years. She loves working with all spectrums of hair colour, especially blonds. By incorporating various foiling and dimensional painting techniques, her highlighting, balayage, and sun-kissed looks are always personalized to bring out her Guest’s natural beauty. Lauren is also very passionate about healthy hair and provides reparative treatments alongside her colour services. She wants to see your locks shine, feel soft, and turn heads!

She is a great listener and takes pride in having open communication with her Guests, especially during a detailed consultation. She completes her services by educating her Guests on home hair care to maintain their beautiful healthy locks.

Lauren’s education is extensive and includes a Colour Specialist Degree and Master Colourist certificate from L’Oreal Professionnel, multiple advanced classes with The Venere Academy, Metro, Kérastase Paris and Aveda, and she is always attending industry events to keep her skill set fine-tuned and current.

Above it all, Alison enjoys consulting with her clients to design a look and style that fits their lifestyle with special attention to repairing and maintaining the integrity of her client’s hair.

Tara has always had a love for people and working in customer service. Her career started in fashion retail as a store manager and when an opportunity to join the Venere Salon team presented itself, she jumped on board! Over the last 20+ years, Tara has held many job titles at Venere Salon, from Salon coordinator, Retail Specialist, Salon Concierge, Make-Up Artist and she is currently our Burlington Location’s Front Desk Coordinator. Tara takes great pride in helping our guests select the right Stylist, the perfect product, and the most ideal services. If you need help with skin care or selecting hair products that make a big impact, Tara is your go-to person! Ensuring that your visit to the salon is excellent and helping you out with whatever she can makes Tara smile.

Emma’s passions in life encompass creativity, raising someone’s self confidence level, and positive human interactions, which is why she was so drawn to working within the Beauty Industry. Emma was determined to work in an environment that celebrates individualism, artistic expressions, and makes a positive difference in other’s lives. As our Burlington Location’s Front Desk Coordinator, Emma’s bright smile, fun hair colours, and cheerful personality are ready to greet you and ensure your experience is exceptional. The beautiful smile she sees on our Guest’s faces as they wrap up their appointments with us make her day! Emma has many industry-specific classes along with an HR Certificate from Sheridan College under her belt. In her spare time Emma is a Cosplayer and keeps herself busy creating interesting characters and competing in various competitions. To say Emma’s world is full of colour is an understatement!

Brittney is a valuable member of the Burlington Venere Salon Team. She is our Stylist’s and Front Desk’s main support hero and she prides herself on helping to keep the salon floor running smoothly.

Monica’s journey into hairstyling was inspired by the rich colours and culture of her Mexican heritage. Originally, Monica started doing Hair and Make-up for special events including Quinceaneras and Weddings. After moving to Toronto, she found opportunities to do hair in vibrant environments, including The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and volunteering as a hairstylist in the Miss Universe Canada competition! Nowadays, she takes a lot of pride into creating shape and texture in haircuts, and beautiful colours for her valued Guests. Monica is always focused on maintaining optimal health for scalp and integrity in the hair. Seeing her Guest’s eyes light up at the end of a service is her ultimate goal. Monica’s passion for learning and growing never stops. Education is incredibly important to her, and she takes every advanced class and training opportunity she can through The Venere Academy. She continues to attend advanced classes and is always striving to update her skill set. Helping clients that struggle with volume and length is really special to Holly. She is an expert with incorporating specialized extensions and the impact this service makes is incredibly fulfilling. Her specialties include all aspects of blond, the balayage hair colouring technique, corrective colour, and colour blending. Steph is also famous for her gorgeous up-do’s and Special Event Styling! Stephanie believes that Hairstylists are Artists and it is important to always continue learning. She has completed advanced classes with The Venere Academy, L’Oreal Professionnel, Metro and Kérastase. Favorites have included Advanced Balayage, and Up-Styling classes with Celebrity Stylists. Fatima’s advanced skill set has her thriving in all areas of this craft. She loves creating precision haircuts that are full of movement and texture, personifying colour placements and formulas through highlighting, lowlighting, and dimensional techniques, restoring hair to a healthy state with reparative treatments, and finishing everything off with a customized beautiful blowout. Fatima has a special love of changing one’s hair texture whether you are wanting more curl and wave through perms, or wanting to eliminate curl and frizz through smoothing services. Recently Ellen participated in an inspiring razor cutting class with L’Oreal. Ellen delivers beautiful colour, cut, and styling services. She particularly loves colour services that are more natural looking in tone and balance. Approaching dimensional colour for Ellen is a symphony of beautiful blending, highlighting and foiling, balayage, and solid colour techniques. She gets really excited to execute a transition, helping a client grow in their natural colour, phasing out solid colours, and working towards a goal over several appointments. Hayli joined our Venere Salon family with over 7+ years of customer service experience and her personal goal is to make sure every Guest leaves the salon with a bright smile on their face. She genuinely cares about people and loves being part of an experience that makes others feel great and lifts people up.

Michelle V’s career journey started in 2004 when she worked at a salon as a Co-Op student. Her heart started pulling her towards working directly with clients and she joined the Venere Salon Team in 2009. As part of Venere Salon’s competitive creative team, and as an Educator at The Venere Academy, Sam’s influence at Venere Salon is multifaceted. Sam loves performing all services. When he creates the perfect dimensional colour service, adds a precision haircut, finishes the look with a beautifully styled blowout, and sees that his client feels like a star, Sam is happy. Along with being a skilled Stylist in cutting, colour and styling services, he is also an expert in Cezanne smoothing services and loves helping guests that struggle with the texture of their hair.

As a member of Venere’s Creative Team, she has travelled all over North America for education! Rachelle enjoys all aspects of cutting, colour, extensions and styling. Marisa has committed her career to the art of hair. She has a passion for styling and treating all kinds of hair from curly to straight, although short hair is her forte. Marisa takes the time to customize and create the best look for each client. Along with being a Stylist at Venere for the last 30+ years, she has also been The Venere Academy’s Educational Director for the last 16 years. She teaches our up and coming stylists, guiding them at the start of their hairdressing careers, and provides advanced education for our senior stylists too. Marisa has trained throughout Canada and across the world, including Paris, Portugal, Spain and Dubai. She has spent time working side-by-side with many unique artists in the industry and has participated in a number of competitions, becoming a finalist with some of the top stylists in the country.

He has had a lifelong passion for cutting hair, styling hair, and creating the perfect look for his clients. Ermanno loves getting to know his clients and connecting with them on any conversational topic.

Ermanno has trained throughout Canada, and across the world, including Paris, Portugal, Spain and Dubai. He brings new trends and techniques to his clients and team. He has also participated in a number of competitions, becoming a finalist alongside some of the top stylists in the country, winning several awards, including Ontario Salon Team of the Year at the Contessa’s.

Maurice Venere

Relationship building and connecting with clients helps drive Maurice’s passion every day. He believes hair should be beautiful, healthy and easy to manage from visit to visit.
